The Lyndon Community (Orange, N.S.W) is a non-government organisation providing alcohol and other drug treatment in residential and non-residential programs. The organisation provides residential services in Orange and Canowindra and non-residential programs too much of the Central West, including the Murdi Paaki Region (from Brewarrina to Dareton), and in Bega on the South Coast of NSW. Services include withdrawal, rehabilitation, SMART recovery groups, education programs, women’s groups, mental health and drug use groups, family support and kids programs and one to one counselling. The organisation also has a strong commitment towards research and has formed close partnerships with peak bodies, other health services and universities. Lyndon has been providing these services for over 30 years and is a strong position to increase services well into the future. The Lyndon Community is accredited through The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.

Age Range : 18 Years +

Payment: 80% of Centrelink Payment (Or applicable fee)

Length of Stay: 3 Months

Types of Treatment: Drugs/Alcohol

(Limited Methadone/Suboxone Withdrawal Service)

  1. This rehab wasn’t solid or serious enough for me. Experimentally based on a disability model rather than other addiction treatment models. Only 90 minutes per day actual work on addiction.
