Goldfields Rehabilitation Services (Kalgoorlie, W.A)

Goldfields Rehabilitation Services (Kalgoorlie, W.A) Inc operates a 13-week residential rehabilitation programme. 

During your stay you will be expected to be an active participant of our programme and show motivation to get your life back on track. Our office is staffed 24 x 7 to ensure you are receiving the support you require.

On track residential services include:

• Residential support
• 13 week Alcohol and Drug program
• 12 months Out-care support
• 12 months optional transitional housing programme
• Case Management
• Counselling
• Group therapy
• Psychotherapy
• Creative therapy
• Relaxation therapy
• Work therapy
• Development of life skills
• Nutrition education
• Group exercise and promotion of healthy living

Upon admission, residents are provided with a welcome pack, which consists of basic toiletries, an On Track Workbook and a copy of the Residential Handbook.

Referrals
Anyone can enquire and make appointments to visit the Rehab and find out more about the Goldfields Rehabilitation Services Residential Programme.

You do not require a referral from an external agency to be considered for the rehabilitation programme.

Assessment
If you are interested in becoming a resident of the programme, an appointment will be made for an assessment following a referral form being received. If you are deemed suitable after your assessment, once a bed becomes available you may be requested to undertake medically supervised detoxification which GRSI will assist you with. If detoxification is required, a bed will be held for you pending successful completion.

Criteria for Admission

• 18 years of age or older
• That you have detoxified prior to admission
• You are ready and motivated to participate in all aspects of the programme of your own free will
• You accept the conditions of the programme
• You agree to adhere to and abide by the house rules

Please note that assessments do not guarantee you a placement, GRSI has a daily waiting list to which eligible candidates are added to. You will be contacted once a bed becomes available.
